Don’t Be Average

Average, to me, is a halfway effort. I don’t want to be at 50 when I could be at 100.

I hate the idea of average. From a young age, I wanted to be the best and truly believed I would be if I tried. Average is easy. Average is what is expected and I never wanted to be predictable. I wanted to shatter expectations.

-Average is when you know you could have given more to a project but you didn’t.

-Average is when you know you need to push harder but you don’t.

-Average is throwing in the towel when things get tough.

-Average is when you know you need to study a few more hours but you close your books an hour in.

-Average is staying in your comfort zone.

-Above average is pushing your limits and continuing even further.

-Above average is chasing your dreams even when you are told you are crazy.

-Above average is persevering when you want to give up.

-Above average is having the focus and vision to see the bigger picture, not just the obstacles sitting in front of you.

-Above average is believing in yourself when no one else does.

-Above average is taking risks and knowing that if you never try, you can never succeed.

Today, see yourself as above average. Challenge yourself to be better every day in everything you do. It might just change your life!
