Students, alumni and friends,
Wow, it’s 2015! Can you believe it? While it may seem cliché, January 1st is a day that symbolizes a fresh start for many of us. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the previous year and create goals for the coming twelve months. The success and challenges of 2014 are the stepping-stones for an even better 2015.
Here at Waldorf, we are continuously working to make the Waldorf experience an enjoyable, educational journey – and we would love to hear from you about what you love about your college and places where you see room for improvement! In previous years, you told us you wanted a higher-level degree program, so we established a master’s degree program that met your needs. We now have 117 students enrolled seeking their master’s in Organizational Leadership, all because YOU gave us constructive feedback!
I’m sure education will be a part of your goals for 2015. Make sure you build on the foundation you built in 2014. Will your 2015 goals be to keep up the momentum from 2014, complete your degree, or move on to a new degree? Or maybe you know someone who has been thinking about going back to school to earn their college degree but just hasn’t gotten around to applying. Check out our new Refer a Friend program! You could be the seed that inspires and initiates success in 2015 for those around you!
So remember whether you are a current student or an alumni, keep education as a goal for 2015. At Waldorf College, we hope to inspire life-long learning. Whether you are in a course or not, we have a variety of campus speakers each year who discuss topics ranging from cutting edge research to motivation and success to current issues that can be streamed here! Subscribe to the monthly Warrior Watch to stay up to date on different events being held on YOUR campus – like MTV ‘Real World’ cast member Mohammed Bilal who is speaking at Waldorf on Jan. 19 for MLK Day!
Whatever your educational goals are for the new year – we are there with you every step of the way! I wish you the best of luck and many blessings to come in 2015.
Happy New Year!
