The Waldorf campus is buzzing this week with excitement!
Thursday is the day we have been waiting on–Waldorf College finally becomes Waldorf University.
The announcement of the change was made on February 10 at a presentation held on campus. “Today is an exciting and important milestone for everybody linked to Waldorf,” said president Robert Alsop. “We are honoring our school’s rich history with a new position for which everyone associated with Waldorf can be proud. With the success of our graduate program and the diversity of academic offerings, we felt the title university best represents who we are and who we strive to be.”
The school is hosting a a Waldorf University celebration launch party on Thursday, March 17. The first designs of school signage and marketing will be revealed and fun activities will be offered throughout the school atrium like a giveaway prize table and a Waldorf U photo booth. The event begins at 10:15am with a sign reveal in front of Salveson Hall.
Online students and warrior fans off campus can join in the festivities through a livestream of the celebration.
Join us on campus for the celebration or join us virtually to celebrate the new future for our beloved institution.
